This scientific article is devoted to the philosophical analysis of the concept of mind uploading - a hypothetical process of transferring consciousness from a biological brain to a digital medium. The article examines the theoretical foundations of mind uploading, including various approaches to its implementation, such as whole-brain emulation and computer modeling of brain functions. Particular attention is paid to the philosophical problems associated with mind uploading. The article analyzes the question of whether the personality and consciousness of the original person will be preserved in the digital copy, and also considers the ethical aspects of mind uploading, including issues of responsibility, rights and the status of uploaded copies. The article also discusses the technological challenges associated with mind uploading, such as the complexity of brain scanning and modeling, the problem of storing and processing huge amounts of data, and issues of energy efficiency and computing power.
