摘要

This research study presents the design and performance evaluation of a five-stage interleaved boost converter (FIBC) using MATLAB Simulink. As the demand for efficient and powerful DC-DC conversion grows, FIBC topologies have gained prominence. The proposed FIBC is compared to a four-stage interleaved boost converter (IB) to assess its performance advantages. FIBC is particularly suitable for electric vehicle on-board chargers, enabling more efficient battery pack charging. The study examines key performance metrics, including ripple voltage, ripple current, and ripple output power. By comparing these parameters between the five-stage and four-stage IB converters, the research highlights the superior performance of the FIBC in terms of reducing ripple and improving overall efficiency. The findings of this study contribute to the advancement of DC-DC converter technology and provide valuable insights for the design and implementation of efficient power systems in various applications, including electric vehicles.
