摘要
This paper proposes a dc/dc converter that mainly consists of two interleaved boost converters. Both boost converters are designed to operate at discontinuous current mode (DCM). Both boost converters share one coupled inductor which consists of a magnetic core with two windings. Based on the principle of magnetic flux balance, the magnetic exciting current can be diverted between two windings of the coupled inductor. This leakage current is used to discharge the parasitic capacitors of the active switches. By this way, the active switches can be turned on at zero voltage. It helps to reduce the switching losses and hence, achieve high circuit efficiency. A 200W prototype circuit was built and tested. Based on the experimental results, both active switches are operated at ZVS. The circuit efficiency is 90%. The satisfactory performance has verified the feasibility of the proposed circuit.
